Fresh asparagus accounted for 35.49% of the total volume of Peru's air exports between January and November of last year

(Agraria.pe) Air exports by Peru reached 82,305 tons between January and November 2024, showing an increase of 3.5% compared to the volume recorded in similar months of the previous year, reported the Foreign Trade Society of Peru (Comex Peru) - It detailed that in the first eleven months of 2024, the main product shipped by this route was fresh or refrigerated asparagus, which reached 29,206 tons, showing a contraction of -7.8% versus what was reported in the same period of 2023. This product represented 35.49% of the total air shipments. Fresh mangoes follow with 12,029 tons (-16.7%), accounting for 14.62% of the total; and fresh blueberries with 8,957 tons (+33%), participating with 10.88% of the total.
