Peru's fresh ginger exports have seen a dramatic increase in the first two months of 2022, with a 62% surge compared to the same period in 2021, totaling 10,014,768 kilos. This growth is expected to continue into March, potentially hitting over 3 million kilos. The United States is the primary consumer, accounting for over 55% of these exports, followed by the Netherlands and Korea. This trend of increasing ginger exports, which began in 2018, shows no signs of slowing down, despite facing a slight decrease in revenue in 2021.
