Fresh mango represented 40.97% of the volume shipped by air from Peru in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of the current year, Peruvian exports via air reached 26,396 tons, showing an increase of 22.2% compared to the 21,600 tons reported in the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Peruvian Foreign Trade Society (Comex Perú), which explained that this increase in export volume is due to the rise in fresh mango shipments (thanks to greater production due to better weather). This fruit is the main product dispatched by this route. It detailed that between January and March of the current year, Peruvian air exports of fresh mango rose to 10,814 tons, showing an increase of 44.3% compared to what was reported in the same period of 2024. This product participated with 40.97% of the total volume dispatched via air.
