Core Tip: According to the Myanmar Global New Light of Myanmar on August 6, the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) reported that during the 2025/26 fiscal year (April to July), Myanmar exported over 840,000 tons of rice and broken rice, generating $290 million in revenue. The exports were mainly shipped by sea, with only a small portion exported through border trade ports. Specifically, in April, 142,700 tons were exported, generating $52 million; in May, 259,500 tons were exported, generating $91 million; in June, 212,400 tons were exported, generating $71 million; and in July, 230,600 tons were exported, generating $77 million.
