A textile-oriented school in Junín de los Andes will provide an opportunity for a group of students to train in Buenos Aires with highly experienced designers. The professionals use local raw materials, such as merino wool and mohair goat fiber produced under quality standards, and following a principle of sustainability.
Unique in the country with these characteristics, the educational institution was introduced to the subject by WCS Argentina, a conservationist NGO that works with livestock producers in Patagonia to promote Regenerative and Wildlife-Friendly production, favoring climate resilience, the restoration of grasslands and soils, and the coexistence between wildlife and the production of natural fibers.
WCS endorses the Wildlife Friendly certification of the produced fibers.
