A flight from Santiago, Chile, carrying chilled Chilean sea urchins arrived in Shenzhen, China, and was successfully released after being monitored by the airport customs, with the entire process from landing to customs clearance taking only 4 hours. Shenzhen Customs is working closely with companies to ensure the quality of sea urchins and other exports from Chile to China. China and Chile have a long-standing history of economic and trade cooperation, with Chile being China's largest trading partner in Latin America. The two countries have signed a free trade agreement and have a mutual understanding of zero tariffs on about 98% of products. Chile's main exports to China include copper, lithium, cherries, pork, and wine, while China exports mobile phones, computers, cars, and other products to Chile.
