(Jangsu=Yonhap News) Reporter Baek Do-in = Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province announced on the 4th that the 5th festival of the year, "Early Christmas," will be held from the 6th to the 7th at Man-nam Square in Gyeonam-myeon.
At the festival, popular foods such as gochujang pork grill, grilled chicken legs, towel cake, and Vietnamese food will be available at affordable prices.
The region's famous agricultural products such as apples, tomatoes, bu-gak, and sikhe will also be sold at low prices.
An experience program for the whole family to make Christmas tree decorations, acrylic mood lights, and creative blocks will be provided.
Attendees will receive free Santa hats and Rudolph headbands.
This event is held by Jangsu County to widely promote local foods and agricultural products according to seasonal themes.
County Mayor Choi Hoon-sik said, "The four festivals held so far have played a big role in securing sales channels for local agricultural products and increasing the population," and "Next year, we will prepare more diverse and exciting festivals."
