The invasion of arctic air masses from the northeast has affected the entire territory of Ukraine since January 3, raising concerns about the condition of winter rapeseed. Analyst Svitlana Kupreyeva reported that the short-term cooling and failure to reach critical temperature indicators may have a negative impact on 10-13% of the total winter rapeseed area, but leaves unchanged the current optimistic forecast of the rape harvest. Despite recent frosts, farmers from different regions have reported that there has not been a critical impact on winter crops.
