Frosts do not threaten the winter crop yield, says Vysotsky.

The peak frosts that Ukraine has experienced in recent weeks will not have a critical impact on the future harvest. According to the operational monitoring results, the situation with winter crops remains under control. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi on the television channel "1+1". According to him, in the autumn, farmers sowed over 5 million hectares of winter grain crops and more than 1 million hectares of rapeseed. Currently, a comprehensive monitoring of the state of the crops is ongoing, including the collection of samples for laboratory analysis. "The preliminary monitoring results of the state of winter crops do not provide grounds to speak about massive losses.
