From January to October 2024, Uzbekistan experienced a significant growth in its fruit and vegetable exports, with a total of 1.6 million tons exported, marking a 15.7% increase compared to the previous year. The monetary value of these exports also saw a substantial rise, by 29.8%, totaling $1.2 billion. The exports were primarily dominated by grapes, peaches, and cherries, with grape exports amounting to 174 thousand tons, or $147.2 million, peach exports reaching 103.5 thousand tons, or $96.9 million, and cherry exports contributing 32.2 thousand tons, or $70.3 million.
