In April 2021, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports reached a value of 380 million USD, marking a 9.5% increase from the same period in 2020 and bringing the total export value for the first four months of 2021 to 1.35 billion USD. China is the largest consumer of these exports, accounting for 64.7% of the market share. Other significant markets include Ukraine, which has seen a significant increase in import value, and Saudi Arabia, which has shown a decrease. Dragon fruit is the top exported product, making up over 34% of the total export value. On the other hand, imports of fruits and vegetables into Vietnam in April 2021 were valued at 100 million USD, with China, the US, and Myanmar being the primary sources of import.
