Fruit and vegetable price trends in Italy on October 16, 2023

The quantities of pumpkins are significantly increasing, entering full production. The continuation of the heat slows down the demand for persimmons and chestnuts. For apples, the Annurca Campania and Fuji campaign is underway. The plum season is coming to an end. The marketing of table grapes slows down: mainly Italian grapes are present. Thanks to the agreement with the Borsa Merci Telematica Italiana (Bmti) and Italmercati we are publishing the survey of fruit and vegetable prices at the wholesale markets as of 16 October 2023.
