Export records and new trends For the second year in a row, prunes have become a real hit in the export of Uzbekistan in the fruit and vegetable segment. Last year, the volume of shipments of these products to foreign markets more than doubled compared to the previous year, and Uzbekistan became one of the three largest exporters of prunes in the world. In 2023, Uzbek prune exporters have built on last year's success. According to the Statistics Agency, over 11 months of this year, Uzbekistan exported 34 thousand tons of these products with export revenue of $41.7 million.
