Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, the Director for Inter-party and Civil Society Relations and the spokesperson for the Agriculture Sector of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana, has praised the Fulani community for their significant contributions to the country's economy, particularly in the agricultural sector. Speaking in Sampa, Jaman North constituency, Dr. Otokunor acknowledged the Fulanis' crucial role in maize cultivation and cattle rearing, which he said has greatly improved Ghana's food security and economic stability. The NDC has pledged to support the Fulani community through various initiatives, including the construction of fodder banks and animal drinking dams, as part of their Agriculture for Economic Transformation Agenda.
