Research cooperation between South Korea and Japan for the advancement of fisheries science and technology has been launched. The National Fisheries Research and Development Institute announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute of the University of Tokyo on November 18, and with Nagasaki University on November 20. The key contents of this agreement include expanding the network cooperation in the marine and fisheries fields between South Korea and Japan, and strengthening research cooperation through the joint symposium on fisheries technology.
