Fumeishi Launches New Fluindozole Fungicide in Brazil to Prevent and Control Peanut Crop Diseases

According to FMC, the Resuris fungicide is specifically designed to address peanut crop spot disease, which can cause early leaf drop and yield losses of up to 70%. The innovation of Resuris lies in its unique dual-action mechanism: chlorothalonil can inhibit the formation of enzymes and coenzymes in fungal metabolism and respiration, while fluindozer can block the production of SDHI enzymes crucial to fungal metabolism. This dual-action mechanism not only enhances fungicidal effectiveness but also reduces the risk of disease resistance. Trial results show that peanut crops treated with Resuris averaged an 11% yield increase, significantly outperforming other leading market products.
