China has seen a significant reduction in soil erosion and has increased its soil conservation rate, as highlighted by the success of Zhuangli town in Shaanxi province. This town has transformed vulnerable slopes into terraced fields, becoming a hub for persimmon plantations, which have become a key driver of economic growth and environmental restoration. The persimmon industry in Fuping county has experienced remarkable growth, with the help of e-commerce and international expansion, and has employed over 130,000 people, generating an industrial value of 6.5 billion yuan. This model of integrating the internet, companies, cooperatives, and farmers has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and is expected to further boost rural revitalization.
