Ganghwa County, newly pushing for support of fishery product dryers

Gwanghwa County in Incheon has launched a new fishery product drying machine support project starting this year to establish a year-round production system for fishery products in its waters and to stabilize the income of fishermen. Applications will be accepted until the 11th of this month. Gwanghwa County has secured 50% of the city budget this year, allocating a total budget of 117 million won and has started providing support. The support limit is 60% of the purchase price of the equipment, with a maximum subsidy of 3.9 million won. The applicants are fishermen registered in the fishing community and fishing business entities with addresses within the county. However, those who have not secured a business site or who have been fishermen not registered in the fishing business entities and have received a fishing suspension for more than 60 days within the last year due to violations of fishery-related laws and regulations are excluded from the support.
