South Korea: Ganghwa-gun will expand the supply of new variety of Ganghwa Island rice ‘Nadeulmi’

Ganghwa-gun decided to supply Nadeulmi to 10 million square meters of land, which is 10.4% of the total rice farm area, this year. Among these, 9 top-quality Ganghwa Island rice cultivation complexes (1.5 million ㎡) located in Gilsang, Naega, Buleun, Samsan, and Hajom-myeon were included. Originally, Chamdream, a different rice variety, was mainly distributed in this cultivation complex, but starting this year, only Nadulmi will be produced.
