The Government of the State of Mexico is vaccinating 85% of its rabbit population to prevent the outbreak of the rabbit viral hemorrhagic disease. The state leads in rabbit production, with 203 thousand 675 rabbits, and the vaccine, created by the National Service for Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (Senasica), will benefit 3 thousand 700 producers. The remaining 15% of the population will be vaccinated by the federal government.
