The General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland have started the import of Polish kidney beans under specific conditions. The beans, which must be non-seed kidney beans grown and processed in Poland for consumption or food processing, must come from approved production, processing, and storage enterprises. The exported beans should not carry certain quarantine pests and must meet China's plant quarantine and national food safety standards. Upon arrival in China, the beans will undergo inspection and quarantine at ports designated by Chinese Customs. If they pass, they will be allowed to enter the country, but if they fail, they will be returned or destroyed, and the exporting enterprises may be suspended.
