Georgia's blueberry exports experienced a significant increase in the 2020-2021 season, with a 42% rise in quantity and 45% rise in revenue compared to the previous year, totaling 916 tons worth $5.41 million. The majority of these exports, 92%, were sent to Russia, while other countries like the UAE, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, and Qatar also imported Georgian blueberries. This growth is part of a larger trend of increasing fruit and vegetable exports from Georgia, with a 68.8% increase in fruit exports and 128.9% increase in vegetable exports in the first half of 2021.
