In 2024, Georgia is set to double its blueberry production and export, potentially generating 100-120 million lari in export income, aided by state support. According to Otar Shamugia, head of the Ministry of Agriculture, production could reach 25,000 tons by 2027 as plantations reach full capacity. Key export markets for Georgian blueberries include Russia, Poland, the UAE, the Netherlands, Armenia, Germany, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Hong Kong.
