Turkiye: Geothermal agriculture zone rises in Denizli

In the Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone planned as Turkey's first geothermal resource region in Sarayköy district of Denizli, one of Turkey's important industrial cities, investments continue and production increases. Tomatoes are produced in 7 greenhouses in the region where 12 greenhouse parcels and 2 industrial parcels are located. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to establish organized agricultural zones where high technology will be used, uninterrupted production and high yield are targeted. Vegetable and fruit production continues to increase in the Denizli Sarayköy Geothermal Heated Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone.
