Ghana's coffee industry is poised for growth with the launch of the first Ghana Coffee Week on October 21, 2024, organized by ITC Ghana, the Ghana Federation of Coffee, and the Ghana Cocoa Board. This event aims to boost domestic coffee consumption and unite industry stakeholders. Supported by the EU and the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States, the ACP Coffee Project has revitalized the sector through sustainable agriculture and farmer training, especially among youth. Local brands like Asila Coffee and Kawa Moka are enhancing consumer interest, fostering a burgeoning coffee culture. The event will include visits to coffee-growing regions and a Coffee Fair and Exhibition, emphasizing economic empowerment, sustainable practices, and cultural importance in Ghana's coffee sector.
