[Guja-ryong Gu, Reporter for the Korea Farmers Newspaper] Young farmers in Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, who have been at the forefront of joint pest control for rice, management of wheat-growing farmers, and the shredding of agricultural by-products, have been contributing to neighborly aid funds for the fifth year, conveying heartfelt farming spirit. The Gimhae Young Farmers Agricultural Corporation (Representative Park Ji-won) donated 5 million won in neighborly aid funds and environmentally friendly rice of love to Gimhae City on the 4th. This corporation was established in February 2021 by around ten young farmers in the Gimhae region. Instead of relying on external personnel, the local young farmers have taken over the joint pest control project for rice and are proactively carrying it out using drones. This year, they are also managing wheat-growing farmers and agricultural by-products.
