In response to unfavorable weather and decreasing temperatures, Xin County in Shandong Province is providing technical guidance to farmers to prevent diseases and insect pests in vegetable crops. The county is also advising farmers to grow more leafy and fast-growing vegetables to meet market demand. Meanwhile, Shouguang City is providing technical guidance and increasing vegetable allocation to ensure stable and increased production. Yunnan Province, known for its balanced vegetable production throughout the year, is accelerating vegetable production and developing sales channels to supply more than 150 products in various regions. Handan City, a major vegetable planting and distribution base in northern China, is also optimizing the vegetable entry process to facilitate trading and importing foreign vegetables to make up for the temporary shortage of local vegetables.
