Core tip: The global cashew production forecast released by the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) in November shows that the recent forecast is more optimistic than the initial estimate in May. Currently, it is estimated that cashew production in the Northern Hemisphere will increase by 2% compared to the previous season, reaching 457.4 million tons; Southern Hemisphere production is expected to increase by 7%, reaching 90.1 million tons. The total production for the 2025/2026 crop season is expected to be 553.3 million tons, a 3% increase from the previous year's 536.6 million tons.
