The global curcumin market is expected to grow to $112 million by 2025, driven by the natural anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin and its popularity in skincare products, particularly in Asia. India, a major producer of turmeric, contributes 80% to global production. The versatile nutritional profile of curcumin makes it beneficial for the treatment of various health conditions, and it is commonly used in dietary supplements. The state government of Telangana has initiated the Turmeric Spice Park to encourage the production of export-oriented value-added products, aiming to increase the global competitiveness of Indian turmeric.
