The wheat harvest forecast in Argentina for the 2025/26 season is estimated at 23 million tons, according to the Rosario Grain Exchange, which raised its estimate due to high yields thanks to abundant soil moisture. The new forecast, which exceeds the previous one by 20 million tons, is due to many months of above-normal rainfall in the country's main agricultural regions. If the forecast is confirmed, the harvest will match the production record set four seasons ago. "We have never seen such wheat," the exchange reported, according to its October report. The province of Buenos Aires is currently showing the highest yield—about 4 tons per hectare. Argentine farmers are expected to begin harvesting in the coming weeks and complete the work in January.
