Global green coffee exports fell 14.2% in January, ICO says

Global green coffee exports dropped by 14.2% in January compared to the previous year, marking a third consecutive monthly decrease, according to the International Coffee Organization. This decline was attributed to a base effect after exports hit an all-time high in January 2024. Despite the decrease in exports, the ICO composite indicator price for coffee increased by 14% in February, averaging $3.5432 per lb.
