Góngora (COAG): Cherry Tomato Imports, Mislabeled, Are "A Scam"

COAG has denounced that cherry tomatoes are being imported from the Sahara and labeled as originating from Morocco. Furthermore, it points out that in recent campaigns, there has been an increasing presence of certain products on supermarket shelves, such as cherry tomatoes, which indicate a Moroccan origin on the label when they are from companies that also have production in Western Sahara. Andrés Góngora, head of the fruits and vegetables sector at COAG, explained in the latest broadcast of AGROPOPULAR -May 24th- the details of this complaint and what they are demanding from the Ministry of Agriculture.
