According to the Vietnam Pepper Association cited by the Bulgarian News Agency, the export of black pepper from Vietnam in the first nine months of the year has reached 1.26 billion dollars, a growth of 27.6%. The average export price continues to rise – black pepper is trading at 6490 dollars per ton (an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous month), and white pepper at 8579 dollars per ton (+1.4%). On the international market, Vietnamese black pepper remains stable at 6600–6800 dollars per ton, which provides a competitive advantage over other producers. Over the nine months, the average export price has increased significantly – for black pepper to 6647 dollars per ton, and for white pepper to 8716 dollars per ton, reflecting a supply deficit and the recovery of global demand.
