The Mozambican Minister of Agriculture, Celso Correia, has announced that the issuance of phytosanitary certificates for the export of pigeon peas has resumed after a three-month halt due to high levels of forgery. Correia emphasized the importance of genuine certificates to avoid the risk of being banned from international markets. The president of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique, Agostinho Vuma, requested the intervention of the President of the Republic to resolve constraints faced in the sales process, particularly in exporting pigeon peas to India.
