The State Government of Santa Catarina is set to launch educational and financial support programs for farmers in June, as part of the Terra Boa 2024 Program. This program will invest over R$111 million in 2024, including the Corn Seeds Project, which aims to improve grain yield, and other projects such as limestone projects, forage and beekeeping kits, and support for winter cereal cultivation. Additionally, the Água no Campo SC Program will invest R$60 million in rural areas of Santa Catarina, including a contract for a trencher for irrigation systems. The Monitoring Milho SC Program will also be implemented to monitor corn leafhoppers, a key issue in grain harvests.
