Grain market in Poland on 6.10.2024

Domestic grain purchase prices according to ZSRIR MRiRW In the first week of October 2024, grain prices increased. Only the supply of corn from new harvests exerts downward pressure on the prices of this grain. In the period from 30.09 to 6.10.2024, according to data from the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the MRiRW, consumption wheat was sold for PLN 904/t, i.e. 1% more than in the previous week. The price of this grain was 4% higher than a month ago, but 8% lower than a year ago. The price of consumption rye was PLN 611/t and was 1% higher than a week earlier. This grain was 4% more expensive than a month ago, but 8% cheaper than a year earlier. The purchase price of feed barley was PLN 729/t, i.e. 1% higher than a week earlier.
