In July, Ukraine saw a 9% increase in exports, totaling $2.969 billion despite a slight decrease in the physical volume compared to June. This decline is largely due to a drop in corn exports, which have decreased by 44.4% since June and 2.5 times since the peak in April. However, exports of wheat and rapeseed have compensated for this, with significant increases observed in July compared to the same period last year. The steel industry also had a strong month, recording the highest figures since the war. The majority of exports were shipped to the EU, with China, Egypt, Turkey, and India also being significant recipients. Imports in July reached $5.3 billion, with a variety of goods including traditional items and new categories such as complex fertilizers and electricity.
