Russia: Grain traceability system will start operating in 2022

The functions of the operator of the Federal Grain Traceability System are assigned to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center of Agroanalytics". The corresponding decree, published on October 13, 2021 on the official portal of legal information, was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The document also approves the rules for the creation, development and operation of the Federal State Information System for Traceability of Grain and its Processing Products. The grain traceability system will begin its work in 2022: voluntary registration, provision of information and accounting of grain will begin on July 1 - this will be a test period, and mandatory - from September 1.
