In the period from week 35 of 2023 to week 9 of 2024, Peru's fresh grape exports saw a mixed performance with a 2% increase in revenue to USD 1,484 million despite an 11% decrease in volume, totaling 562,000 tons. This revenue growth was driven by higher grape prices. Leading exporters included Sociedad Agrícola Rapel S.A.C., Ecosac, and El Pedregal S.A., dominating the market. The United States, the Netherlands, and Mexico were the top destinations for these exports. While the US market remained stable in demand despite a volume decrease, the Dutch market faced declines in both value and volume. Conversely, the Mexican market experienced significant growth in both metrics, highlighting varied market dynamics across different regions.
