Greece's livestock farmers have received a new €10 million from the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, as revealed by the Ministry. This financial package, decided by Minister of Rural Development and Food Kostas Tziara, will be disbursed in two installments. The funding is part of compensation for the culling of animals due to the imposition of veterinary and sanitary measures, as well as covering the operational costs of regional veterinary services responsible for implementing biosecurity measures to combat and eliminate the zoonosis.
