Tajikistan plans to plant 65 million trees and shrubs on more than 4 thousand hectares by 2025 as part of the "Green Country" program, with fruit trees, rose hips, and pine being the main focus. The program involves two stages and a total budget of more than $11.8 million, with funding from the state budget, own funds, and development partners. The program aims to create new jobs, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, improve the environment, and promote the well-being of the entire population, in addition to planting trees and shrubs.
