Gardeners in Vietnam are focusing on growing green-skinned grapefruit to standards required for export, with support from the professional sector. The product is being sold at high prices, with a significant portion being exported to China and Cambodia. However, the output of pomelos has decreased, and only a small percentage meets export standards. The yield of green-skinned grapefruit in Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces is around 10 tons and 11.4 tons per hectare respectively, but the output has decreased and the percentage of grade 1 fruit is low.
