Udmurtia, a Russian republic, has been receiving grant support from its local budget for the second year in a row to boost its agricultural export potential. The grants are aimed at creating and modernizing export-oriented industries, with a total of 10 grants worth 105 million rubles issued over the past two years. The recipients have planned exports worth $4.08 million from 2021 to 2025. The number of exported food products has increased, including edible chicken eggs, and the republic has entered the market of the United Arab Emirates. The total exports of agricultural products from Udmurtia have seen a growth of 12.1% compared to the same period in 2020, amounting to $3.63 million, and is projected to grow by 19.5% by mid-September.
