Guzerá Field Day: where genetics turns into profit

Livestock farmers, experts, and scientists will meet in an event organized by the Cebuano Dairy Committee and its Crosses to see how data-based and genetic selection is making a difference in tropical productivity. The event will show real results in the guzerá breed, combining science, genetics, and practical criteria applicable on the farm. On February 7th, at Finca La Piragua, located in the municipality of Nueva Granada (Magdalena), livestock farmers from all over the Colombian tropics will meet for the Guzerá Field Day: Path to Productivity, a space where science and practice meet to demonstrate that productivity is not by chance, it is built with data, genetics, and criteria in selection.
