Gyeongbuk Uiseong apple farmer Mr. Kim Buduk, honored with the Republic of Korea's Representative Fruit Award

[Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper, Reporter U Jeong-soo] Mr. Kim Buduk (66), who grows apples in Uiseong County, Gyeongbuk Province, was selected as the Prime Minister's Prize winner in the '2025 Republic of Korea Representative Fruit Selection Contest' held in conjunction with the '2025 Republic of Korea Fruit Industry Fair', a representative event of the domestic fruit industry. The 2025 Republic of Korea Fruit Industry Fair, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and organized by the Korea Fruit Farmers' Cooperative Federation, was held for three days from November 27 to 29 at the Daejeon Convention Center in Daejeon Metropolitan City. Park Jeong-hoon, Director of the Food Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Park Seo-hong, Representative Director of the Agricultural Economy of the Nonghyup Economic & Finance Group, Kim Yeon-hwa, President of the Consumer Public Interest Network, and Park Cheol-sun of the Fruit Farmers' Cooperative.
