The Gyeonggi Livestock Promotion Center successfully produced its first calf through the transplantation of Jersey fertilized eggs, marking a milestone in spreading the new breed of brown dairy cows. The fertilized eggs were imported from overseas to manage the bloodline of Jersey breeds, with a 50% conception rate among the cows that received the transplanted eggs. The center plans to distribute the jersey calves to farms that have joined the Jersey Breeding Farmers' Council in the province to revitalize the industry.
