Gyeongnam Province in South Korea successfully revitalized its K-seafood exports to Vietnam by organizing a promotional event and export consultation meeting in Ho Chi Minh City. The event, which attracted 9 seafood companies from Gyeongnam, resulted in the signing of export intent agreements worth over $2.8 million. The companies introduced 17 easy-to-cook seafood products, generating popular interest in Vietnam. The province also secured a $500,000 export intention agreement for live marine products and held a local tasting event. In addition, a project to support exporters' marketing expenses with a budget of KRW 200 million is underway, with plans to participate in the Qingdao Fisheries Expo in China and hold domestic export consultations to expand seafood exports and diversify markets.
