A severe hailstorm in Murcia, Spain, on April 22 has caused significant damage to agricultural lands, impacting 4,450 hectares across the regions of Bullas, Caravaca de la Cruz, Moratalla, Cehegín, Mula River, and Bajo Guadalentín. The majority of the damage was to almond, apricot, and peach trees. Preliminary estimates put the cost of the damage in Bullas and Cehegín at EUR 7.6 million, with around 3,000 hectares affected.
