Jeju Hamdeok Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Hyun Seung-jong) screened a "visiting cinema" ventriloquism performance at the cooperative's agricultural education center last Friday. This event, supported by the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives and the Korean Film Archive, was organized to enhance culture and welfare in rural areas. Around 60 members of the Hamdeok Agricultural Cooperative attended the event. Attendees enjoyed the ventriloquism performance titled "The Inspector and the Female Teacher" by veteran comedian Choi Young-joon, relishing the cultural benefits in the rural area. The ventriloquism performance, a hybrid cultural show that revives silent films with singing, acting, and live music, reinterpreted retro-style cultural performances in a modern way, garnering much acclaim.
