The harvest of cumin has commenced in Şanlıurfa's Harran Plain, where its cultivation has expanded as an alternative crop in recent years. Alongside traditional crops like cotton, corn, lentils, and wheat, cumin is becoming increasingly popular in the region. Farmers are now growing cumin as a medicinal and aromatic plant on thousands of acres. The harvest in Eyyübiye District Health District has begun, with Şanlıurfa Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mehmet Aksoy, attending and wishing the farmers a successful harvest.
